The design honours his roots and the people who supported him, including his Pop, who first introduced him to rugby league, and his mother, whose encouragement represents the resilience and protection symbolised in the heel detailing. With interchangeable brown, white, and orange laces, the boot encourages individuality within a team setting, while custom insoles reference the Addington Showgrounds in Christchurch, connecting the design back to where Brown first played the game.
